COMMERCIALIZATION & STEM CELL RESEARCH CLINICAL LANDSCAPE & TRANSLATIONAL CHALLENGES

Stem cell-based therapies have the potential to make a significant contribution to currently unmet patient needs and therefore the effective manufacture of these products is essential. There have been significant commercial pressures on stem cell research in particular. Many challenges need to be overcome before this can become a reality and a better definition of manufacturing requirements for cell products must be achieved. The objective of the current webinar is to inform industry and academia about the current clinical development of stem cell therapy and to identify gaps in their manufacturing requirements. Several technologies have been evaluated for the manufacture of these stem cell types to facilitate product translation and further process development.

Presented By Dr. Lipi Singh, Ph.D., Dr. Lipi Singh completed her postdoctoral research at the City of Hope National Medical Centre and Beckman Research Centre, California, USA. Dr. Lipi has over 15 years of experience in the field of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine.
