Patient Name: Lionel Macha
Lionel Macha is a bright and spirited 7-year-old boy whose journey with autism began early. While he showed no difficulties with daily activities such as brushing his teeth, dressing, or eating, he was less verbal compared to his peers. Though he was very interactive and could utter many words, his speech lacked clarity.
Eye contact was present but inconsistent, often influenced by his mood. Emotionally, Lionel was impatient and intolerant in certain situations, especially when required to wait, like during hospital visits or while dining at a restaurant. He would sometimes become highly irritated if his desires weren’t fulfilled immediately. These situations often led to emotional meltdowns marked by loud crying or shouting.
As parents, we wanted to support our son in every way possible. After exploring various therapies and interventions, we learned about stem cell therapy and its potential to support Neurological development in children with Autism Spectrum traits. Our research led us to Advancells. We connected with its team and received detailed guidance about the stem cells, their potential, and the treatment procedure. On 15th April 2025, Lionel underwent stem cell therapy using high-quality allogeneic umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells. The Advancells team went a step further by arranging three HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) sessions for Lionel, further supporting his recovery journey. Post-therapy, Lionel began to show encouraging improvements.
- His verbal communication improved noticeably.
- His vocabulary expanded.
- He started to repeat what others were saying.
- He began building small sentences.
These improvements were a milestone that had not been possible before the therapy. These developments marked a significant leap forward in his ability to express himself and engage with the world around him.
Lionel still experiences occasional mood-driven behaviors, but the strides he has made have brought renewed hope and positivity among us. From a child who struggled to communicate effectively, Lionel is now turning into a more expressive and connected young boy. It is a testament to his resilience, the dedication of his family, and the promising potential of stem cell therapy.
His journey continues, but the progress so far is nothing short of inspiring.
