Patient Kamiljon Halbayen, 27 year old from Turkmenistan met a car accident 1 year ago and injured his Spinal Cord. The surgery was carried out in Turkmenistan to repair the cord but the patient became paraplegic and was bed ridden and paralyzed from waist down.
Autologous Adult Stem Cell Therapy was done on the patient. A total of 118 ML of Bone Marrow and 100 ML if adipose tissue was collected and processed to separate Mesenchycmal and Hematopoietic Stem Cells. These cells were then re injected via Lumbar Puncture and IV and the patient was put on intensive physiotherapy.
20 days post therapy, the patient had gained enough power to take steps and walk with the aid of braces and walker.
