Mr. Sudheendra Hola, 34 years old, is a financial adviser from Bangalore. He was healthy and had a successful career until one day in 2016 when he started feeling breathless and had difficulty walking. A visit to the doctor followed by a battery of tests, diagnosed him with Motor Neuron Disease. This disease is progressive and affects the neurons responsible for movement. His condition slowly and steadily deteriorated. Meanwhile, he started reading up online about MND and ways to combat it. During one such search he came across Advancells based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He got in touch with us and shared his reports. He understood the role of Stem Cells in delaying the progression of MND as well as regenerating the affected neurons to regain movement. Mr. Hola flew down for therapy in July 2017.

Mr Hola was received at the Delhi Airport by Advancells staff, who assisted and accompanied him to the Hospital in the heart of the city. Once at the hospital, Mr Hola met the treating doctor who examined him and prescribed a few blood tests and other essential investigations. The Stem Cell Therapy was planned for the next day. Since his physical condition was quite weak, the doctors decided to go with Umbilical cord tissue Mesenchymal Stem Cells Therapy for him. Allogenic Stem Cells were delivered through 3 routes: Lumbar puncture, Intravenous and Intramuscular injections. The therapy was pain free and he tolerated the same without any problems. He underwent Physiotherapy for 3 days following therapy and travelled back to his home town with instructions on further physiotherapy.
